The Pleasantville Community Center & Grange (map) was purchased by the village from the Pleasant Grange. Over the years it served as a focal point of entertainment in the village, bringing plays and sketch artists in the early 1900s. The original structure was built in the 1910s, and the back section housing the kitchen was added later. Today this historic building hosts many civic organizations, family gatherings and weddings. The village has worked steadily to update and maintain this unique and beautiful building.
The building is ADA compliant and accessible to all, thanks to grants that funded a handicap-accessible ramp, parking and restrooms.
